Ending the Israeli Palestinian conflict

In God we trust.

The Israeli Palestinian conflict has been going on for over forty years. In this time there have been many attempts to solve this conflict but all of them have failed. In this article I would like to discuss why these attempts failed, and why the solution lays elsewhere. Before we can discuss the solution, we must first look at the history of this conflict, and how it began. The first question that must be asked is what happened forty years ago to cause this conflict. The answer lays in the 1967 six day war fought between Israel, and it's surrounding Arab neighbors. Many see this war as a continuation of the original war of independence that was fought between Israel, and it's surrounding Arab neighbors in 1948. In the war of independence the Arab states that surrounded Israel, opposed the establishing of the new Israeli Jewish state on the holy land of Israel, which is the home land for all the Jewish people, and after a war that lasted almost a year, the Arab states understood that they cannot destroy the new state of Israel, so they agreed to a cease-fire. In that cease-fire agreement the area known as the Gaza strip was put under the authority and control of the state of Egypt, and the areas of Judea and Samaria were put under the authority and control of the state of Jordan (at that time nobody heard of the Palestinian people, because they simply did no exist). But in these areas lived at that time Jewish settlers. These settlers were forced to leave their homes, and cross over to the other side of the border, ruled by the new Jewish state. This border would be known later as the 1967 border or the green line as it is called in Israel. Clearly the issue of the borders of the new Israeli state was not completely resolved at the end of the war of independence in 1948. Nineteen years later, in 1967, Israel was again faced with a threat to its existence, there was talk all over the Arab world of the need to attempt again to destroy the Jewish state, and it was obvious that it was only a matter of time before the Arab nations surrounding Israel with the aide of other Arab countries that did not have a border with Israel, will attack her. So in an attempt to save itself, Israel lunched a pre-strike against its Arab neighbors. This pre-strike took the Arab world by surprise, it lasted for six days, and is known as the six day war or the 1967 war. In this war Israel re-captured the areas of Judea and Samaria, the Gaza strip, the Golan Heights, and the Sinai desert, pushing back the Arab armies and creating a wide perimeter for its defense against any future attempt by the Arab armies to attack Israel (this perimeter proved very important in the 1973 war, when the Arab armies of Egypt and Syria made a surprise attack on Israel, and it gave enough time for the Israeli army to regroup and defend Israel). After the end of the six day war as I have mentioned above the areas of Judea and Samaria and the Gaza strip came under the rule and jurisdiction of the state of Israel. The Arabs that occupied these areas expected to be forced out of their homes and moved to the surrounding Arab stats, as was with the Jewish settlers in 1948, in fact they were ready to do so, because they thought it to be the natural order of things, in this kind of situation. But through the intervenient of left wing political parties that were in control of parts of the government of Israel at the time, there came a cry saying that such an act would be cruel and inhumane, and so the Arab residents of Judea and Samaria and the Gaza strip where allowed to stay in their homes, and not be deported. The fact that the Arab citizens of Jordan and Egypt where allowed to stay in their homes was a crucial mistake on the part of the Israeli government at that time. Had they been deported there and then, there would have been no conflict, because the so called Palestinian people would have never come in to existence. But after the mistake was made the Arab countries took advantage of the situation, they understood that they cannot destroy Israel by physical force and so gaining control of the holy land of Israel, they decided to destroy her spiritually from within. To that purpose they began to encourage a local leadership of the Arabs that remained, declaring that they where an independent people, who had a right to the holy land of Israel. In this way they wanted to undermined the legitimacy of the holy land of Israel being the home land of the Jewish people, by claming that it was really the home land of their Arab citizens whom they now called the Palestinian people, and thus the Israel Palestinian conflict was born. But now we must ask the second question, why was it so important to the Arab world to gain control over the land of Israel, and prevent it from becoming the Jewish home land? Surely they did not need the land itself, for if we look at the size of the land of Israel, compared to the size of the lands of its Arab neighbors, its size is insignificant compared to the vast lands under the control of the Arab states. The answer lays in a completely different direction altogether, and to answer this question we must go back to biblical times. In the book of Genesis it is told that the forefather of the Jewish people Abraham, had two sons, Isaac and Ishmael. Isaac was born from his only wife Sarah while Ishmael was born from a servant girl named Hagar. Naturally Abraham's inheritance went to his lawful son Isaac, and with it came a promise from God that the land of Israel would be given to his heirs. But Ishmael refused to accepted this outcome, having been born thirteen years before Isaac, he considered himself to be the eldest, and the one that should have received the inheritance. This feeling of frustration he passed on to his offspring's who later became the Arab people, wile the offspring's of Isaac became the Jewish people. Because the Arab people to this day are very religious and believe what was written in the bible, they feel to this day that the land of Israel should be theirs, and not the homeland of the descendants of Isaac. That is why they did everything in their power to stop the land of Israel from becoming the Jewish homeland, and the place of existence of the new state of Israel. This is one reason why attempts at finding a compromise to the conflict have failed, there can be no compromise when the Arabs want the whole land of Israel to themselves, and are not willing to share it with the Jewish people (to this fact the Hamas that are in control of the Gaza strip, have declared more then once that they will not be satisfied until the whole state of Israel is destroyed, and its people banished from the land of Israel). In light of this fact, you may ask yourselves how it is possible that a peace treaty was signed between Israel and the Arab countries of Egypt and Jordan? The answer is that these treaties are on paper only, there is no real peace between Israel and the Arab countries of Egypt and Jordan, only a state of non-aggression, witch can change when these countries will again feel that they can overcome the state of Israel in open war. Furthermore because of the Arab claim that the land of Israel belongs to the Palestinian people, they can no longer claim that they have rights over the lands that they lost in the 1967 war, and so they have no excuse, to go to war with Israel (in a sense it may be said that their plan has backfired), instead they help to strengthen the Palestinian terrorist forces in the hope that they will do the job for them and destroy the Israeli state from within. But the offspring's of Ishmael received another important quality from him. This quality is one of the main reasons why in my opinion no compromise can solve the conflict. To understand this quality we must look at the governments of all the Arab states. These governments have all one thing in common, they are all some form of dictatorship. None of them are free democracies, even though some try to appear outwardly as semi-democratic. In addition most of these governments were established by a forceful military uprising (except maybe for Jordan which is a monarchy). The reason for this is that in the Arab world the comprehension is that only the strong can rule. And that is why any sign of weakness in a government is not tolerated and immediately calls for a forceful uprising, this is especially true when looking at the Palestinian leadership of today, it is no coincidence that the Hamas, who is an aggressive fanatical militant force, is now in control of the Gaza strip. As I have said this quality the Arabs received from their forefather Ishmael, of him it is written in the book of Genesis: "And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man and every man's hand against him;", in plain terms this means that the Arab world only understands one rule, the rule of power. The strong rule, the strong control, and the weak must submit to the strong. In this concept any form of compromise is interpreted as a sign of weakness. This explains why every time an attempt was made to reach some sort of an agreement between the governments of Israel, and the representatives of the Palestinian people, the result was an increase of terrorist activity by the different Palestinian militant terrorist groups, and more innocent Israeli citizens getting killed or wounded, forcing the Israeli government to retaliate in order to stop the violence. The Lubavicher Rabbi King Messiah is quoted as saying more than once, that every time there is talk of compromise, the result is more bloodshed amongst the people of Israel. And now for the solution, as I have explained a compromise between the Israeli and the Palestinian people is not possible, furthermore the people of Israel have nowhere to go, the holy land of Israel is their only homeland, while the Arab states have vast lands at their disposal. This means that the only true solution for the Jewish people is settlement all over the land of Israel. Only in this way can we show the so called Palestinian people that we are strong, and by this way earn their respect, for as I have explained they only respect the strong. The Palestinian people must be given a choice, either except the fact that the land of Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people and they have the right to live and settle all of it, while the Arab people who live there remain as a minority under the rule of the Israeli state. Or if they do not agree they must leave the land of Israel and go to live with there Arab brothers on the vast lands under the control of the Arab nations. Only through a sign of unity and force by the Israeli people, unity within them, and unity with the holy land of Israel, can there be an end to the conflict. Any other way will only prolong the conflict even further and more innocent people will get killed. Only through strength and union of the Israeli people can the conflict be finally resolved.
Long live the King Messiah.
